Truro School: National ks5 champions
Truro School’s KS5 team became All England National Squash Champions by beating defending champions Wycliffe 4-1 in the final in Nottingham. This is the first time that the school has won a National title at any sport. Team head coach Tim S was ably supported by co-coaches Alison W, Jamie L and Matt S (in the early rounds).
This is the culmination of many years of development in squash at Truro School and probably represents thousands of hours of training both before and after school. It is also the first time that a Cornish side has triumphed on the National school’s stage in our sport – a truly historic occasion.

Jared London: 9x County Champion
Jarod is a nine-time County Squash Champion, recognised for his consistent performance and longevity at the top level of competition in Cornwall. His success over the years reflects a high standard of discipline, skill, fitness and competitiveness.
Jarod’s contribution to county squash has set a benchmark for current and future players, and his presence remains a respected part of the Cornwall squash community.
He has also reached the final of the National Racketball Champs and competed across the world in the sport.
Shuv Garland: 10x County Champion
Shuv has reached a remarkable milestone by securing her tenth County Squash Championship title. His decade-long presence at the top of the game is a reflection of sustained performance, adaptability, and focus.
Few players have matched his level of consistency across such a competitive field. As a ten-time champion, Shuv continues to set the standard within the county on a female racketball front and remains a key figure in the ongoing development of squash at all levels.
Shuv has been crowned the Over 45’s National Women’s Racketball Champion and the Over 55’s National Women’s Racketball Champion on two occasions.
